MSR Fuel Canister Recycling Program Launches
MSR Fuel Canister Recycling Program Launches
MSR is excited to announce the launch of our Fuel Canister Recycling Program. In an effort to keep your pile of empty fuel canisters out of landfills, we’re now collecting empty canisters at our Repair Shop in Seattle. Bring in any brand of backpacking fuel canister and we’ll ensure it’s properly recycled for you.
And while you’re there, pick up new MSR IsoPro™ fuel canisters for 20% off!
Repair Shop location and hours:
MSR’s Repair Shop is located at 130 South Dakota Street, Seattle, 98134, and is open Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Not in Seattle? Recycle your MSR canisters at home.
It’s easy to recycle IsoPro fuel canisters yourself. Just follow these steps. And stay tuned, as we will be expanding our fuel canister recycling program to other cities in the future.

Not sure how much fuel is left in your canister?
MSR IsoPro fuel canisters feature a built-in gauge that lets you measure how much fuel is left. Watch the video to learn how to read it.
