Your Guide to Paraglide Snowshoe Bindings

Meet the Paraglide™, our newest snowshoe binding featured on all Trail series snowshoes: Evo, Revo, and Lightning. (Pro tip: if our site is out of stock, use the Find In Store or Find Online buttons on the product page to see MSR retailers with inventory.)

Based on the materials and design principles of the award-winning Paragon binding (found on Ascent series snowshoes), the Paraglide was designed to be easy to use and incredibly comfortable for newer snowshoers while still providing a secure fit and high-quality performance.

To put on the Paraglide snowshoe binding, simply pull the outside strap forward over your foot. Then tighten and secure the rear strap. Roller buckles make tightening the straps easy and intuitive by holding them in place without slippage. Having only two adjustment points makes it quicker and easier to get the right fit.

New snowshoers often find placing their feet and strapping into snowshoes difficult and unintuitive. On the Paraglide, toe stops show you exactly where to place your feet and keep footwear from sliding too far forward.

Large, easy-to-grab buckle pulls make removing the straps quick and simple, even with gloves on.

Unique Material

The Paraglide’s stretch mesh, originally created for the Paragon, is unique. It provides a pressure point-free hold that is compatible with nearly any footwear from light hiking boots to snowboard boots. The single piece stretches evenly over your foot for unmatched comfort while providing a very secure fit.

Choose the Perfect Setup

As with all MSR snowshoes, you can choose the snowshoe frame and binding combination that is best suited to you.

The Paraglide binding and Evo frame combination are comfortable, durable and offer a great value. However, the Paraglide binding is also a great choice on the Revo or Lightning frames if you’re looking for a lightweight option on less technical terrain. The Lightning Trail is, in fact, the lightest snowshoe option we make.

You can also add accessory tails to any snowshoe to increase their versatility and float in deeper snow.

Made in the USA

Our snowshoes are made in market, meaning that for North American users our snowshoes are made in the USA. For European users, our snowshoes are produced in our manufacturing facility in Cork, Ireland.

Give the new Paraglide snowshoe bindings a try, and experience how comfortable and easy snowshoeing can truly be.
