Like many manufacturers, we’re experiencing unavoidable disruptions to our supply chain coupled with increased demand for our best-in-class outdoor gear from folks looking for new socially distanced adventures. Unfortunately, that’s left some of our most popular products out of stock, which we’re genuinely bummed about. We’re doing everything we can to keep production moving, but some supply issues are simply beyond our control. If there’s a particular product that you’re really after, we encourage you to take these approaches:

Sign up for Back-in-Stock Emails

This is the best way to get notified whenever we receive new inventory. You can sign up on any product page, and we’ll send out an email any time new stock arrives.

Check Your Local Dealers

We’ve tried to keep our local stores supplied as best as possible. On every product page we have a “Find in Store” button for local inventory and a “Find Online” option for our online partners. If we’re out of stock, it’s worth a check to see if they have it.

At this time we’re unable to share updated timelines for re-stocks on specific products as things are changing quickly and unpredictably. Our customer service team is dealing with a significant backlog of questions, repairs, and warranties that are keeping them busy. As such we encourage you to hold your product availability questions so they can focus on helping others get back outside with their favorite gear!

How do I use Afterpay?

Shop for all your outdoor gear as you normally would, but select “Afterpay” as your payment method when checking out. From there, a new window will pop up that guides you through the Afterpay registration process where you’ll provide your information and payment details (Visa or Mastercard). Once the order is confirmed, you’ll be redirected back to your Order Confirmation.

How do I know if I qualify for Afterpay?

Afterpay encourages responsible spending and does not approve 100% of applicants. When determining which orders to approve, they consider a number of different factors. As an example, the longer you have been a shopper using Installments by Afterpay and the more orders you have successfully repaid, the more likely you will be able to spend more. Here are a few tips to increase the likelihood of approval:

  • Ensure there are sufficient funds on your card (generally they look to see the first installment amount available to spend) 
  • Length of time you have been using Installments by Afterpay (tighter in the first 6 weeks) 
  • Amount you have to repay, it may help to pay some off (not a guarantee) 
  • The value of the order you are trying to place, it may help to reduce the value of your shopping cart (not a guarantee) 
  • The number of orders you currently have 'open' with Afterpay (not a guarantee)
Where can I use Afterpay?

You can use Afterpay across all Cascade Designs brand sites (MSR, Therm-a-Rest, SealLine, Platypus, PackTowl) and we encourage you to shop across brands and checkout with one single cart.

How do Afterpay payments work?

Your order total will be divided in to 4 payments and you’ll make your first payment at the time of checkout. The remaining payments will be billed in 2 week increments over the next 6 weeks.

When will my order be delivered if I use Afterpay?

Your order will be shipped on the same schedule, regardless of which payment method you select.

What purchases are excluded from using Afterpay?

Order values under $1 and over $2000 are ineligible. Afterpay is not available on purchases of gift cards or backordered items. If you are purchasing gift cards along with Afterpay eligible products, you will need to place two separate orders.

How do I return or exchange items purchased with Afterpay?

Afterpay returns follow our standard return process. For merchandise returned within 30 days of the delivery date, a refund will be issued to the original form of payment at the original selling price.
